A quick honesty note before the list: "newest" here means the newest games in our catalog, not every game that launched last week. A game earns a spot by proving it can hold an audience for months, not days — which is why the youngest class below is the 2025 arrivals, and why no 2026 launch has cracked the list yet. When one does, it will show up here. Every player count on this page is a real concurrent figure from Roblox's official API, retrieved August 16, 2026.
The 2025 arrivals
Six games from 2025 have already earned catalog spots, and most of them are still enormous.
99 Nights in the Forest is the biggest of the class — a co-op survival game about keeping a camp alive night after night, drawing about 355,000 concurrent players as of August 16, 2026. Steal a Brainrot turned meme-collecting into a chaotic social heist and was pulling about 254,000 players the same day; it's the purest "of the moment" game on this page. Forsaken brought real mechanical skill to asymmetric horror — survivors work objectives while community-character killers hunt — and sits at about 67,000 players.
Grow a Garden is the interesting case: the plant-and-wait farming game that set concurrency records in 2025 has cooled to about 43,000 players as of August 16, 2026. That's still a big, healthy game — just no longer the phenomenon it was, which is exactly how fast Roblox waves move. Dead Rails keeps a strong audience at about 33,000 players with its one-life train run through a zombie-infested Old West. Plants vs Brainrots rounds out the class — a tower-defense spin on the brainrot wave — but it's the one 2025 game we don't have live stats for in the current snapshot, so we won't pretend to know its size.
The 2024 class that stuck
A year and a half on, the 2024 breakouts have sorted themselves into keepers and quiet ones — and the keepers are still huge. Rivals is now one of the biggest shooters on the platform at about 255,000 concurrent players as of August 16, 2026. Jujutsu Shenanigans (about 143,000) leads the anime-brawler pack, Fisch (about 90,000) proved a fishing game could be genuinely deep, and Dandy's World (about 59,000) made floor-by-floor horror friendly enough for everyone. Blue Lock Rivals holds about 26,000 players in the anime-soccer lane.
Not every 2024 game kept its crowd. Pressure, the deep-sea Doors sibling, is quieter these days — about 3,700 players as of August 16, 2026 — but it remains one of the best-designed horror runs on Roblox, and that player count is plenty for a game you mostly experience with your own squad.
Where 2026 stands
No 2026 release has earned a catalog spot yet. That's not a knock on the year — it usually takes a few months for a launch to separate itself from the hype cycle, and the second half of 2026 is still young. The fastest way to spot the next one before we add it is the live trending board, which ranks every game we track by real concurrent players, every build.
How to keep finding new ones
The "Rising" tag on a game card flags the newest entries in the directory, and the browse page lets you scan across genres. The trick to staying current on Roblox is to try one new game a week from a genre you already like — and to trust live player counts over anyone's list, including this one.
